I am writing to say sorry to all my readers for neglecting this site. I have been through quite some changes since I claimed authorship to this information hub. I have moved out of a bad marriage and divorced. Set up home in a little Dolls House of a place. Then I have been teaching part time in Adult Education on the Access to Higher Education – health pathway …all to prepare students for their journey into nursing. I still have been helping at the Community Cancer Centre whenever I can.
But a miracle happened through this blog and my networking on facebook. I met a kindly, caring man from Morocco. A footballer that had been following my work as he was off with an injury. We chatted and fell in love. I went out to treat his injury and got him back in play.
We married yes I am now Mrs Marjorie Bahhaj and thanks facebook and thanks to my blogs.

I am here however in England and he is still out in Morocco. We are trying to get his clearance to join me here in the UK. But I have come up against a problem. I am not earning enough I am told by the Entry Clearance Officer in the British Embassy in Rabat. I have with Amines love felt able to go back into clinical work and have 3 job offers on the table but the lengthy processing of CRB checks and occupational health mean that I am not in post yet…. so our appeal for Amine to join me looks in jeopardy. We may have to re apply once I am in work…. but I need him here.
He is my healer, guide and partner for the rest of my life. He is compassionate as well as passionate…! He loves our Cancer centre and the true grit of our patients in their battle or fight back with the cancer and its treatments. He is good footballer and would like to help our local team Hayes & Yeading United FC to get further up the leagues. With this bring the profile of our centre higher in the media and thus hopefully help our charity funds. He is used to playing in front of massive stadiums but feels he would like to help us the centre through the local team. Of course we will always be loyal to the centre no matter how our life develops….
All our patients are following the love story intently and are eager to meet Amine and watch him play…
But I am spooked by meeting another woman on the plane on the last flight out. A British born woman who has been married to a Moroccan for 3 years and still not got clearance for her husband to join her in the UK. We have team up and put a campaign blog together to appeal to our government to relent and let our men come to us in our motherland.
Here is our blog link
